Baby-Naming Ceremonies

The birth of a child is a joyous event in a family’s life. Whether co-officiating at a brit milah, or presiding at a baby-naming ceremony for your infant daughter, Cantors Ginsberg and Morrison will offer special blessings of gratitude and create a ceremony that will welcome your child into your family as well as into our Jewish Community.

Bar and Bat mitzvah Tutoring and Ceremonies

A bar or bat mitzvah is a milestone event in the life of a Jewish boy or girl. For more than 25 years, Cantors Ginsberg and Morrison have tutored bar and bat mitzvah students, helping them to feel prepared and confident before their special day. The Cantors are also available to help perform the actual ceremony either in a synagogue or in a more nontraditional setting of the family’s choice. Cantors Ginsberg and Morrison are also happy to help families create a meaningful havdalah service to honor this rite of passage of their child.

Weddings and Commitment Ceremonies

Everyone loves a wedding. With Cantor Ginsberg or Cantor Morrison officiating, your special day will be transformed into a truly enriching and memorable experience. Every wedding ceremony is unique and personal. Cantor Ginsberg or Cantor Morrison will meet with each couple as often as necessary before the wedding to discuss “the institution of marriage,” their future, and what this commitment means to them as individuals and as a couple. Cantors Ginsberg and Morrison will also help to create a spiritual ceremony with special songs and readings that’s have significant meaning for you and your partner, and all of your invited guests. Cantors Ginsberg and Morrison will also officiate commitment ceremonies, and at interfaith marriages with another member of the clergy. They will work with you to blend language, music, and prayers so that all participants are comfortable with the ceremony.

Funerals and Unveilings

In times of deep sorrow and great loss, Cantors Ginsberg and Morrison are available to help grieving loved ones through this difficult time. Following the year of mourning, during which time the Cantors are available to offer support through this time of transition, they will also help the remaining loved ones complete the cycle of mourning with an unveiling ceremony.

Counseling and Coaching

With a degree in social work and certifications as a life coach, Cantor Ginsberg can work with individuals, families and businesses to provide psychological and spiritual counseling, and personal and corporate coaching to help people achieve balance and peace in their lives and attain their personal and professional goals. Cantor Morrison’s background in education and pastoral counseling has prepared her to offer guidance through life’s challenges, both personal and professional.
