Meet The Cantors

Nancy Ginsberg

Nancy is a graduate of the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion School of Sacred Music in New York, where she earned a masters degree in Sacred Music and became an invested cantor in the spring of 1987. She earned a second master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, along with a special certification in the “Prepare and Enrich” program for pre-marital and marital counseling. Cantor Ginsberg is also completing her requirements to become a licensed personal coach.

Jan Morrison

Jan is a graduate of the University postgraduate work at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Maalot, and apprenticeship with a variety of rabbis and cantors in the Maryland/Washington/Virginia metropolitan area. She has received certification in the “Prepare and Enrich” program for pre-marital and marital counseling. She has worked as a bar/bat mitzvah tutor and congregational cantor for many years. Cantor Morrison received investiture from her congregation in 1994. She has been studying meditation and sacred chant with Rabbi Shefa Gold and will be working on her certification to become a licensed personal coach.
